Adding a Personal Photo and Credit Footer to Your GitHub Pages Site

I walk through the final step of my project: placing my face on the website and adding a credit footer. First, I open the repository in vscode.dev (or desktop VS Code) and locate the index.html file. I then upload a portrait image to the repo, ensuring the filename matches exactly. Using Claude, I prompt for a simple footer that includes "made by [my name]" and the image, receive the HTML and CSS, and replace the existing footer block with the new code, inserting the provided CSS right after the current footer rule. Finally, I adjust the image tag to reference the uploaded picture, double‑checking case and spacing, so the site displays my photo with proper attribution.
