How to Add Parking and Transportation Options in Mapsmith

In this video I walk through the process of adding a new parking or transportation entry to a Mapsmith parking map. First, I open the left‑hand menu, go to the Mapsmith section, and select the Transportation option. I then click the Add New button to create a new location. The form only requires two essential fields: the name of the parking lot and its address. After entering those details, I choose the appropriate type from the list—Parking, Bike, Stand, or EV charging; for this example I select Parking. Although the form displays additional optional fields, I explain that they can be left blank. Once the required information is filled in, I press Publish. The system then displays a "Location found" message, confirming that the coordinates are correct and that the new entry will appear on the map.
