Using DIYFPV.COM MCP with AI Chatbots

In this video I demonstrate how to connect our new DIY FPV MCP (Marketplace Connect Platform) to popular AI chat tools—Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini—to retrieve real‑time product, stock, and pricing information without using the DIY FPV website. I first explain the difference between the public and authorized MCP endpoints and why an authenticated account reduces usage limits. Then I walk through adding the MCP connector in Claude’s settings, authenticating with my DIY FPV account, and issuing queries such as “Where can I buy the DJI Air 4 in Europe?” and “List all European FPV stores.” The MCP returns detailed, price‑converted listings with direct store links, showing far more precise data than the AI’s default web search. I disconnect the connector and repeat the same questions to highlight the disparity in completeness and accuracy. Finally I outline upcoming features—like the DIY FPV Builder—that will let users ask the MCP for build‑specific parts, compatibility checks, and pad information, and I point viewers to the upcoming Assistants Cloud page for creating authorized connections to avoid limits.
