Tax Scenario 1

I demonstrate how to set up and apply taxes in our system to handle both broad and granular scenarios. First, I add tax types—water and garbage—through Settings → Rate Structures. Next, I attach those taxes directly to rate structures (B2 and R1) so they auto‑apply to every location on those routes. Then I show how to override this default by assigning a specific tax (garbage) to an individual location, which creates an intersection of the rate‑structure taxes and the location‑specific taxes, resulting in only the common tax being charged. This workflow lets me quickly configure universal taxes while still being able to customize or exempt individual locations as needed.
