1. PackWares: Calculate BCT (Compression Strength)

In this video, I demonstrate a packaging software that offers various modules, including CRM, inventory, procurement, planning, production planning, production, quality inspection, shipping, and invoicing. The software's tools work independently and in coordination with each other. I focus on the box strength calculator tool, which provides a consultative approach for customers with new packaging requirements. The tool asks objective questions, such as shipment type, box type, dimensions, product weight, and storage duration, to calculate the total compression strength of a box. I walk through a step-by-step example, selecting options like domestic shipment, slotted box, product weight of 10 kgs, and storage duration of 12 months. The tool calculates the total compression strength as 740 KGF and provides a safety factor. The next step in the process, getting paper recommendations, is covered in a subsequent video.
