Deposits

I recorded this walkthrough to show how to manage deposits in the billing system. I first create a $150 deposit, which raises the account balance. When a deposit payment arrives, I enter it and the system applies it to the oldest charge, keeping the deposit tracked. I then demonstrate applying the deposit to a closing bill, posting it, and issuing a refund for overpayment. Finally, I explain that a deposit return can be posted at any time via Deposit Return button, which credits the account while debiting the deposit balance.
